Lalita Chemello
Born in the Motor City, Lalita has embraced the multitude of opportunities in creative media available in her career for over a decade, including writing, photography, television, film, and radio/podcasting.
More recently, her byline graced the pages of Road & Track’s Feb/Mar 2026 “Supersize” issue. Former work includes Motorsport.com, RideApart, Jalopnik, Porsche Club of America’s Panorama and Club Racer magazines, Autoweek, RebelInk.com, Moxie Magazine, MiMoto Podcast, and GpGrl.com.
She also worked with the I.E. Sports Radio Network where she was co-host of, “The Extra Mile,” from 2017-2019. Logos for both GpGrl.com and I.E. Sports Radio are Lalita’s designs.
Her 2015 film Macy, (writer, producer, actress) won Best Drama/Film Noir at the Grizzdance Film Festival, as well as Best Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Picture for the OU Filmmaker’s Guild awards.
